The Accufast LH Ovulation Mid Stream Test is a self-testing one- step assay designed for in vitro qualitative determination of human Luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine to predict time of ovulation.


Ovulation is the release of an egg from your ovary. A low background level of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is always present in your urine. At about the middle of your monthly cycle, the LH increases suddenly to a high surge level which causes the release of an egg from your ovary (ovulation) about 14 to 48 hours later. To become pregnant, the egg must be fertilized with a sperm cell in time. Therefore, your most fertile time is when you are ovulating. This test can help you predict your ovulation time quickly and easily.

How to use

Instructions for Use:-

  • Remove the test stick from the foil pouch
  • Remove the cap to expose the absorbent tip
  • Hold the stick by the thumb grip with the exposed absorbent tip pointing downward.
  • Urinate on the absorbent tip only until it is thoroughly wet.
  • Lay the test stick down on a flat surface with the windows on top
  • Read the result within 10 minutes

Interpretation of Results:-
Negative: Only one line appears in the control region (C) or both of the lines in the control region and the test region appear, but the test line (T) present is lighter than that of the control line (C) in color intensity .This indicates that no LH surge has been detected and you should continue daily testing
Positive: Two distinct lines appear, one is in the test region (T), and the other in the control region (C), the test line (T) is equal or darker than the control line (C)in colour intensity, then you will probably ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. And if you want to be pregnant ,the best time to have intercourse is after 24hours but before 48 hours.
Invalid: If there is no coloured line visible both in the test region(T) and control region(C), or there is a coloured line in the test region(T), but no line in control region(C)
